10 Day Cape Town , Kruger and Victoria Falls
Day 1: Cape Town
Guests are met upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport from where they are transferred to their hotel which is situated on Cape Town's famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. During the afternoon we visit Table Mountain which stands guard over the South African Mother City. The journey to the summit of the mountain is in a Swiss Built cable car which slowly revolves 360 degrees offering breath taking views of the Cape Peninsula and the city bowl of Cape Town.

Day 2: Cape Town
The tour ventures South and makes its way to the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve. The drive of about an hour is one of the world's most scenic as shear cliffs and towering mountains contrast with the waters of the Atlantic. In the nature reserve we visit Cape point where the stormy waters of the Atlantic is reputedly met by the calming influence of the Indian Ocean. On the return journey to Cape Town we visit the towns of Simonstad and Muizenberg which is set along the Indian Ocean.

Day 3: Cape Town
Breakfast is followed by a short ferry ride to Robben Island from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. The Island is notorious internationally for the fact that it served as a prison for primarily political detainees during South Africa's apartheid years. This period in our history has fortunately past and the Island now serves as a museum to the inmates who where incarcerated there with ex president Nelson Mandela definitely the most famous person to have spent time on the Island. The tour of Robben Island returns to the waterfront around lunch time after which we dedicate the afternoon to relaxing on the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

Day 4: Mpumalanga Highlands
Guests are transferred to Cape Town International Airport for a flight to Johannesburg where they are met. From here the tour makes its way east to Mount Sheba. A fine country hotel situated in rolling hills of Mpumalanga. The late afternoon is spent at leisure or taking a walk to one of the many waterfalls in the indigenous forest surrounding Mount Sheba

Day 5: Greater Kruger National Park
Splendid Scenery abound as the tour makes its way to the Shangana Cultural village where guests are led from the Marula Market by a trained guide who explains how the Shangaan traditionally collect food from their environment, and the way in which traditional farming is conducted. The route leads up to a traditional Shangaan Village which is the residence of a Headman, his wives and his children. In the village some time is devoted to getting some insight into the history, and culture of the Shangaan.

Kruger National Park is a short drive from the Cultural Village The Park is named after the sitting president of the old Transvaal republic who proclaimed the Sabi Reserve in 1897. This reserve was the beginnings of the Kruger National Park as it is known today. Approximately two million hectares in extent the Park is internationally renowned as one of the worlds foremost conservation areas. The late afternoon is devoted to a first game drive in search of Africa's Legendary Big Five in an area where many other mammal and bird species grace the African Savannah and give meaning to the words " Spirit of Africa".

Day 6: Greater Kruger National Park
The day is devoted to two game drives in the Kruger National Park accompanied by your experienced guide. We focus on exploring first the area to the South of Skukuza which is characterized by thick reverie before before concentrating our efforts on the wooded savannah between the Sabi River and the Lebombo Mountains. This area serves as habitat to a great number of plains game species which are followed closely by the big cats which pray on them.

Day 7: Pretoria
An African sunrise heralds a new day in the wilderness as we embark on an early morning game drive in Kruger. The game drive is followed by a late breakfast after which the tour makes its way to Pretoria the capital city of South Africa.

Day 8: Livingstone
Guests are transferred to Johannesburg International Airport for a flight to the town of Livingstone. The town was established in 1905 by the British South Africa company and bears the name of the famous missionary explorer Sir David Livingstone. The Livingstone Museum situated in Town still houses the largest collection of his letters and journals  and bears testament to the legacy of this legendary man, who spent more than half his life in Africa. He was devoted to the exploration of the continent and the plight of it's people who were at the time still brutally exploited by the slave traders.

Day 9: Livingstone
The morning is devoted to exploring the Victoria Falls from different vantage points. The falls are situated in the Zambezi River between the countries of Zimbabwe and Zambia. It has been described as one of the worlds natural wonders and few who have seen its imposing grandeur have not stood in awe at the spectacle. A sunset cruise is conducted on the Zambezi River during the late afternoon. The views of the surrounding wilderness areas and glimpses of different mammals as they come to the waters edge for a drink remind of an Africa as seen by the legendary explorers and missionaries.

Day 10: Departure
Guests spend the morning at leisure after which they are transferred to Livingstone Airport for a flight to Johannesburg. Guests are met at Johannesburg International airport and are assisted in transferring to an international flight back to their country of origin after one of our South Africa Tours which experience the highlights of Southern Africa

Prices are quoted per person in United States Dollars and are valid from 15 December 2007 to 15 December 2008.
