Rosendal Lodge is a quaint country retreat situated in the small town of Rosendal located in the heart of the Eastern Free State. The surrounding area is at an average elevation of just over 7000 feet above sea level making for a very pleasant climate, relatively cool in summer to downright cold in the winter months. The under-floor heating in the bathrooms, fireplaces, electric blankets, and locally made down quilts insure your comfort on those chilly winter Free State nights. All rooms feature private outside verandas or gardens, perfect for enjoying a drink at sundown while enjoying the spectacular view of the Witteberge.
